Crackanory is the British comedy anthology series where comedians and actors perform original short stories directly to camera or microphone in a witty yet comical dramatic storytelling style.
It’s what we’d like to Imagine a twisted adult version of Jackanory is like(The classic BBC children’s storytelling show), except the stories are dark, absurd, satirical, and often gleefully inappropriate.

Each episode features a single narrator delivering a fully scripted fictional tale — sometimes surreal, sometimes biting, sometimes grotesque — with theatrical flair.

Historical Release Notes
The TV Series premiered in 2013 on UK channel Dave, the show ran for four series (2013 - 2017).
These seasons make up the core Crackanory catalogue — the main body of stories most people associate with the brand.

Later Audible Companion Release
The ‘Too Cracked for TV’ audio set was released on Audible around 2018 - this was a five-story audio-only collection made after the original TV series run.
Audible then released a 4-season expanded Audible Series!
