I never enjoyed Ricky Gervais’s bullying of Karl Pilkington, which seemed to be the backbone of the podcast, but this book sees minimal input from Garvais and Merchant and is properly funny. It’s also very well narrated too.

The miserable meanderings of Pilkers. The only activity he truly seems to enjoy is dancing & body-popping, at which he is an acknowledged master. The HBO series where they animate the podcasts used to be great. Quite right about the bullying, though.

@brassy - He has a very doom-laden, dry Mancunian wit. I’d go with Gripper’s endorsement, not having read it myself.
The only folks who don’t feel that way about Ricky, are those as yet blissfully unaware of him.
